Though its title is "Pier Groups", this film could just as easily have been called "Keith's Day Off." As the film opens, Keith Anthoni, after a wake up blowjob from his lover (Alan Miles), finds himself with an unexpected day off from work and decides to go cruising the old New York City piers. Meanwhile, Johnny Kovacs gets a call from his office assigning him to inspect some old New York City piers. Both men live in the same apartment building and their paths cross several times during the day. As Kovacs takes measurements (of the piers, that is), he continually stumbles upon pairs and groups of men sucking and fucking. Some are doing it right out in the open, others in dark, dank corners. Yet, with the stone face of a Stoic, Kovacs just continues his work. Several times, he stumbles across Anthoni, each time with a different man. Or in one case, a group of men who chain him by the wrists in order to gang fuck his mouth and cover him with loads of cum. For this episode, Kovacs stops and watches giving just a hint of a smile. The two men cross paths one last time before the film closes. Recognizing each other from the piers, Kovacs and Anthoni see each other back at their apartment building and for just a moment it seems as if they will come together. "Pier Groups" will bring back some arousing memories for some men. In others, it will make them wish they had been there and done that.
